On June, 5, 2008 within the framework of the Russian - Taiwan Symposium on the problems of development of technologies for water resources preservation  the  Conference "Problems and methods of ocean research on estimation of level and hydrochemical regime changes for water arias in connection with global change of climate” was held at the Institute of Oceanology RAS.

Opening address was made by Prof. L.I. Lobkovskii, Deputy Director, Institute of Oceanology RAS. Dr. Alexamber Paramonov, Director of EDBOE RAS was a Chairman of this meeting. He made presentation about EDBOE activities.
